Alpine Colivings is a curated website to discover coliving spaces and send booking requests to hosts. Payments are always direct between guests and hosts.

Terms of Use

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the website. By using the website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and current.

2) What Alpine Colivings does

Alpine Colivings provides a curated directory of coliving listings and a way for guests to send booking requests to hosts.

We are not the host. Unless clearly stated otherwise, Alpine Colivings does not own, manage, or operate listed properties, and we are not a party to any agreement between guests and hosts.

Nothing in these terms creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or similar relationship between Alpine Colivings and any guest or host.

3) Booking flow and payments

  • Sending a booking request is not a confirmed reservation.
  • We forward your request by email to the host.
  • The host confirms availability and shares the next steps.

Payments are always made directly to the host. Alpine Colivings does not collect or process payments at this time.

We may add additional payment options in the future (for example, via a payment provider). If we do, we’ll update this page before it applies.

4) Accounts

To request stays or manage listings, you may need an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your password secure
  • Not share or misuse accounts

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being used abusively, unlawfully, or in violation of these terms.

5) Listings and accuracy

We aim to keep listings clear and honest (amenities, rules, and fees). However, listing information is provided and maintained in collaboration with hosts and can change. We cannot guarantee that all details are always error-free or up to date.

Any statements on the website that are presented as marketing or general guidance do not create binding guarantees unless explicitly stated in writing.

6) Cancellations, refunds, and disputes

Because payments and bookings are handled directly between guests and hosts:

  • Cancellation and refund terms are determined by the host
  • Disputes about a stay (property condition, rules, refunds, etc.) should be handled with the host directly

We can help by re-sending details or clarifying what was shown on the listing, but we are not responsible for host decisions or outcomes.

7) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to break, probe, or overload the site
  • Access or collect content by automated means (including bots, scrapers, or crawlers) unless we allow it in writing
  • Send spam, abusive messages, or fraudulent requests

8) Intellectual property

The website design, brand, text, and presentation are owned by Alpine Colivings or our licensors. You may not reuse them without permission.

9) Third-party sites

The website may include links to third-party websites or services (including host sites and payment links). These links are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or practices.

10) Disclaimers

The website is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alpine Colivings makes no warranties about listings, availability, property quality, suitability, or uninterrupted operation of the site.

11) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alpine Colivings is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from stays, disputes, property conditions, or host/guest interactions.

12) Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These terms (together with any policies linked from them) are the entire agreement regarding your use of the website.

13) Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Privacy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and publish the revised version on this page.

1) What we collect

Information you provide

Guests

  • First name, last name
  • Email address
  • Account password (stored securely via our authentication provider)
  • Booking request details you submit (dates, number of guests)

Hosts

  • First name, last name
  • Email address
  • Account password (stored securely via our authentication provider)
  • Phone number (see “Host phone numbers” below)
  • Listing and availability information you provide

Information collected automatically

We collect basic technical data needed to operate the site securely (for example, log data such as IP address, device/browser type, and timestamps). We do not run ads or tracking pixels.

2) How we use your information

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Forward booking requests to hosts by email
  • Contact you with essential service communications (booking-related or account-related)
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.

3) What hosts receive when you request a booking

When you send a booking request, we forward it to the host by email. The host will receive your first name, last name, and email address, as well as the details of your request (such as dates, number of guests, and your booking information).

4) Host phone numbers

If you register as a host, we may request a phone number. We use it only when necessary for essential communications related to bookings or platform operations.

We do not share this number with guests and do not use it for marketing or advertising.

5) How we share information

With hosts

We share booking request information with hosts as described above so they can respond to your request.

With service providers

We use infrastructure providers to run the site and authentication (for example, Supabase for authentication). These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service.

Legal/safety reasons

If required by law, or to protect users, prevent fraud, or address security issues.

6) Payments

Alpine Colivings does not collect payment card details and does not process payments at this time. Guests pay hosts directly.

7) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations (where applicable).

You can request deletion of your account data by emailing contact@alpinecolivings.com.

8) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and limit access to authorized uses.

9) Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You can request help with any of these by emailing contact@alpinecolivings.com.

10) Children

Alpine Colivings is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11) Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are significant, we’ll post a notice on the site and update the “Last updated” date.
